About Ka’iulani
Born into a family of wonderful cooks, I learned about using quality herbs and spices at an early age while going to open markets with my mother. I attended Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu and the famed Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York. I further developed my cooking skills as a Chef at the Hilton Hotel in Guam and at the Stanford Court Hotel in San Francisco.
Kaiulani Spices was born out of my desire to help busy people cook again because spice rubs have numerous health benefits and make cooking easy. You just sprinkle them on vegetables, meat, poultry or fish, rub them in and let them marinate and then grill, fry, sauté or bake. My spice blends contain 25 different herbs and spices that we roast, grind, then mix and package by hand. I started selling my spices at KCC Farmers Market on Oahu seven years ago and continue to demonstrate cooking with my spices on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Kaiulani Spices are sold in many stores and are used by Chefs in their restaurants.
I am proud to say that we are one of the few organic, locally made spices in Hawaii.

Our Honest Product
Ka‘iulani started her spice company because she wanted to encourage people to cook again. Rubs create an extra layer of flavor and make cooking easy. We start with the finest Certified Organic raw spices available. We then roast and grind the spices in our tropical cottage kitchen on Oahu. The individual spice blends are created by mixing the spices according to Ka‘iulani’s unique spice recipes, using just the right amount of Hawaiian Alaea Sea Salt and/or Organic Evaporated Cane Juice. We produce one of the very few Hawaii-Made spice seasonings that are USDA Certified Organic, Vegan and Gluten-Free. We strongly believe in supporting spice growers that don’t use herbicides or insecticides and that have been recognized for their purity by being certified as organic. You won’t find any fillers, residues, preservatives, gluten, artificial colors or flavor enhancers in our seasonings. Ka‘iulani Spices are good for you and good for the planet!
