KENZO Estate Winery
- 2012-02-10 (Fri)
- New Items | Promotional Products
The wines of Kenzo Estate are the result of Kenzo Tsujimoto’s two decades devoted to the pursuit of the finest Napa Valley wine growing terroir. His quest led him to an untamed mountain valley, on the flanks of Mt. St. George, in Napa’s southeast corner. From these wild 4,000 acres, only the ideal 2% have been planted to vines by famed viticulturist, David Abreu, a passionate master of vine selection, placement and care.
Each autumn, the intentionally limited harvest of powerful grapes is delivered to the meticulously appointed location, that is harmoniously set into the landscape next to aging caves dug deep into the cool mountain rock. Here, celebrated winemaker, Heidi Barrett crafts wines of intensity, finesse and focus.
